Conshohocken, PA Formal Wear, Custom Suits & Shirts

Conshohocken is a borough in Montgomery County, PA along the Schuylkill River. The area was settled in 1820 and was known as Matson’s Ford. In 1830, it was given the name Conshohocken. Its a Native American word meaning “pleasant valley.” Conshohocken fronts the Schuylkill River. There is a rather sharp bend in the river at Conshohocken that gives the Schuylkill Expressway, which hugs the far bank, a curve that is well known as the Conshohocken curve. Railroad tracks follow both river banks, reflecting the valley’s heavy industrial past as well as its continuing rail activity.
